Last week, the carrier-locked model of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 received the latest security update. Today, the international variant of the foldable smartphone received the June 2022 security update. The update is currently available in South America, but we expect it to expand to more regions soon.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with firmware version F711BXXS2CVEE. It brings the June 2022 security patch that fixes over 66 privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update also brings improved camera performance, the auto framing feature in some video calls, and better image quality when memories are captured using social media apps like Instagram and Snapchat.
If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 3 user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download and install the latest software update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched its third-generation Galaxy Z Flip smartphone in the second half of 2021. It was launched with Android 11-based One UI 3.1.1 on board and received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update earlier this year. The foldable phone received additional software features with the One UI 4.1 update a few months ago.
