Samsung has been rolling out the new security update to its high-end and mid-range smartphones over the past few days. Today, the company has released the October 2023 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in some Latin American countries. More markets could get the update soon.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 gets October 2023 security update in Latin America
The latest security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes bearing firmware version F711BXXS6FWI1. The new software is available to download in Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago. The new update brings the October 2023 security patch that fixes dozens of security flaws that were discovered in the previous software version.
If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 3 and if you live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download the new update on your phone right away. To do that, head over to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 3 two years ago, featuring Android 11 onboard. The device received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It will get the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update before the end of this year.
