Last week, Samsung released the stable Android 13 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but it was limited to those units enrolled in the One UI 5.0 Beta program. Now, the company has started rolling out the stable update for everyone in certain markets.
The stable Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is available with firmware version F721NKSU1BVK5 in South Korea. Even the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is getting the stable Android 13 update in the country with firmware version F936NKSU1BVK5. These new updates also bring the November 2022 security patch to the devices to fix close to four dozen security vulnerabilities.
South Korean Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 users can download the Android 13 update on their devices by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. Users can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 users in other countries could get the Android 13 update within the next few days.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 a few months ago with Android 12 (Android 12L on Z Fold 4)-based One UI 4.1.1 onboard. The devices come with the promise of four major Android OS updates, and they've already received one major update. So they are eligible for three more Android OS updates in the future.
