We are just two weeks away from Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event. This is where the South Korean firm will reveal its next-generation foldable smartphones. However, ahead of the official unveiling, the two upcoming phones have been leaked through high-resolution images.
Evan Blass (@evleaks) has published press renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 on 91Mobiles. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 can be seen in Beige/Cream, Black, and Grey, while the Z Flip 4 is visible in Black, Bora Purple, Light Blue, and Rose Gold. Both phones seem extremely identical to their predecessors.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a thinner hinge this time, and it has been reported multiple times that Samsung's upcoming foldable phone feels lighter and more compact. Despite some earlier renders showcasing a Galaxy S22 Ultra-like camera layout, the final design appears to be similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, featuring a small camera island.
Both foldable phones have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and a USB Type-C port. They are also expected to feature an IPX8 rating, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and a less visible screen crease. The upcoming devices will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
