A few days ago, Samsung released the One UI 5.1.1 update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Tab S8 series in Europe. Now, the One UI update is available for Samsung's fourth-generation foldable phones—Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4—in South Korea.

The One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with firmware version F721NKSU2DWH5 in South Korea, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is getting the One UI 5.1.1 update with firmware version F936NKSU2DWH5. Both smartphones are getting some new and improved features for better multitasking and usability. The update is still based on Android 13 and not Android 14. The new updates also bring the August 2023 security patch to these foldable smartphones, and according to Samsung, it fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy phones.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Galaxy Z Fold 4 and live in South Korea, you can now download and install the One UI 5.1.1 update on your phone. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

It also brings the two-hand drag-and-drop action that lets you drag multiple files from one location/app to another location using two hands. The multitasking menu now displays the state (full-screen, minimized, or pop-up mode) of each app at that point in time. One UI 5.1.1 also lets you switch an app's window from full-screen to pop-up and vice versa by dragging the corner of the app's window.
