The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 went official today at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. The company's newest foldable phones come with improved processors, lighter and tighter designs, better cameras, newer software, and enhanced battery life. But coming to some of the most essential things, how many SIM cards can you use with them?

How many SIM cards can you put in Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4?

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has one nano SIM card slot and one eSIM, which means you can use two numbers on the phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with two nano SIM card slots and one eSIM, which means you can use three mobile numbers on the new flagship foldable smartphone from Samsung. Despite their compact design, they have enough SIM support for almost everyone.

Samsung's foldables have had eSIM support for a while now. It's an incredibly useful functionality that enables users to have multiple active phone numbers on the device, even if there aren't as many SIM slots available. This is particularly useful for those who purchase the Galaxy Z Flip 4, since it only has one nano SIM card slot. With most people at least having two phone numbers these days, the eSIM support makes it possible for them to have both numbers active on the device.

Both new foldable phones support 5G networks in most parts of the world. Other connectivity features of the phones include GPS, Wi-Fi 6 (Wi-Fi 6E on Galaxy Z Fold 4), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also features UWB (Ultra Wideband), which can be used to find lost devices with precision, shares files faster, or use the phone as a digital key for your car or doors.
