Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones—Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4—in Q3 2022. However, as usual, the design and specifications of both foldable devices have been leaked already. A week after the Galaxy Z Fold 4's specifications were leaked, the Galaxy Z Flip 4's specification list has been revealed.
Reliable tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) has revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is getting slightly bigger at 2.1 inches (instead of Z Flip 3's 1.9 inches). The upcoming foldable phone will reportedly come equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage.
Unfortunately, this phone will not get the 50MP camera upgrade that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is getting. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will continue to use the 10MP selfie camera and a 12MP+12MP rear-facing dual-camera setup. The phone will run Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 out of the box. A bigger 3,700mAh battery will power it. It also supports 25W fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
Other features that we can expect from the Galaxy Z Flip 4 include 5G connectivity, stereo speakers, HDR10+ video playback, an IPX8 rating for water resistance, NFC, Samsung Pay, and Wireless DeX.
