Samsung has added foldable Galaxy phones to its Self-Repair program for the first time. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 are the first foldable phones to be added to the program, and we expect the company to keep adding newer devices to it in the future. The South Korean firm has also added some Galaxy Book laptops to the Self-Repair program.

Samsung's Self-Repair program is now available for Galaxy Z and Galaxy Book 2 Pro series devices in Europe and South Korea

Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 users in South Korea and Europe can now repair their phones at home. The company's Self-Repair program offers users more choice and convenience. It also offers users the chance to extend the life of their Galaxy devices by offering genuine parts, including the back glass, charging port, loudspeaker, screen, side key, SIM tray, and volume key. For laptops, the company will offer replacement components like battery, display, fan, front and rear case, power key (with fingerprint reader), rubber feet, speakers, and trackpad. Samsung announced that it will add even more devices to the Self-Repair program by the end of this month, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series.

The South Korean firm first launched its Self-Repair program in the US in 2022, and the Galaxy S22 series was the first one to be available in the program. Later, Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series devices were added to the program. The Self-Repair program was then expanded to other markets, including Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, and some European countries. Now, the company is expanding the availability of its Self-Repair program in 30 additional European countries, including Denmark, Greece, Hungary, and Portugal.
