Earlier this month, Samsung started testing One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which will bring a plethora of new features to the smartphone. The new software will debut with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on 10 July 2024 and will then be released for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
While we wait for a major update, Samsung is now rolling out the June 2024 security patch to the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It brings a fix for 59 security vulnerabilities. You can read all about them in our article dedicated to the topic.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 gets June 2024 security update in Central American countries
The company has made the latest security update available to the international variant of the smartphone (SM-F731B) in Central America, and the brand should expand it to other regions in the next few days or, at the maximum, a few weeks.

To get the latest software update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Once you do that, you should be able to see a software update with firmware version F731BXXS2CXEA.
If you don’t see anything there, it means that Samsung hasn’t released the latest software update for your device yet. In that case, you can either wait until the brand does or download it from our database and install it manually.
