At its next Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung will likely unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. We exclusively reported a few weeks ago that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in early July 2024. Ahead of the event, the possible color and storage variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 have been leaked.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 to come in at least seven colors
According to industry insider Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be offered in at least seven colors: Crafted Black, Light Blue, Mint, Peach, Silver Shadow, White, and Yellow. Of these, Light Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, and Yellow could be the primary colors of the upcoming flip phone, while Crafted Black, Peach, and White could be available in some markets or lower volumes. The phone is claimed to come in 256GB and 512GB storage variants, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will reportedly have the same design as its predecessor, featuring a large cover screen. However, the brightness and fluidity of the cover screen might be improved. The internal screen, too, could have a less noticeable crease. The phone will likely feature a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera on the front. On the inside, it could continue to use a 10MP selfie camera.
Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor and 8GB RAM. The phone will likely debut with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 and get seven years of Android OS and security updates. It could also feature a 4,000mAh battery, which should improve battery life considerably.
