Samsung has started rolling out the first software update to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in its home country. The company's latest foldable phones have now received the August 2024 security update. Other countries could get this update in the next few days.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 get August 2024 security update in Korea
The first software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in South Korea has firmware version F741NKSU1AXH7 (via @tarunvats33), while the one for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes bearing firmware version F956NKSU1AXH7. These are minor updates and only bring the August 2024 security patch to the foldable phones.

The August 2024 security patch aims to fix nearly 50 security loopholes discovered in the previous software version that was available at launch.
If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 6 or Galaxy Z Fold 6 user in South Korea, you can check for the new update on your phone now by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually if you know how to use the Odin tool.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 debuted last month with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 software onboard. The new software version introduced newer Galaxy AI features and some minor feature improvements. It hasn't been released to older foldable phones and tablets yet. The update could come next month.
