Just moments ago, Samsung released a new security update to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Now, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has also started getting a new software update. It doesn't bring One UI 7.0 beta, but it could be a necessary update required before the One UI 7.0 beta update is installed.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 gets March 2025 security update; could be necessary for One UI 7.0 beta
The new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes with firmware version F741NKSS2AYBD. It is available in South Korea right now and has a download size of over 400MB. It includes the March 2025 security patch that fixes dozens of security loopholes discovered in previous software versions.
Samsung was supposed to release the One UI 7.0 beta update today, but it has released this security update instead. This patch may be necessary before users can enroll in the One UI 7.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 users in South Korea can check for the update by heading to Settings » Software update » Download and install on their phone.
Samsung announced yesterday that it will expand the One UI 7.0 Beta Program to cover the Galaxy A55, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The update could be released today in Korea and other countries.
