Since Samsung launched its first foldable phone in 2019, there have been rumors that the company will launch cheaper foldable phones. Next year, it reportedly plans to launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which could be its cheapest foldable phone. It will adopt the most important aspect of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Galaxy Z Flip FE could use Galaxy Z Flip 6 display panel
According to display industry insider and analyst Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will use the same display panel used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Based on that information, it can be expected that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with Full HD+ resolution, a Full HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz variable refresh rate.
The Samsung Display-made foldable LTPO OLED panel, protected by Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), features HDR10+ certification and can reach peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. In that way, Samsung fans can get a flagship-grade display.
