Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 get November 2024 security update

Samsung has released the November 2024 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea. Users have been waiting for this update, as the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 received the update earlier despite being older phones.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 get November 2024 security update in Korea

The new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which carries firmware version F741NKSU2AXK8, is now available in South Korea. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is also getting the new update, and it comes bearing firmware version F956NKSU2AXK8.

These updates bring the November 2024 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This new security update brings dozens of privacy and security improvements. Don't expect to see new software features or performance improvements with the new updates.

 

Surprisingly, despite being just security updates, they have a pretty big download size. The update has a download size of over 1GB for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and over 1.2GB for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 6 or a Galaxy Z Fold 6 and live in South Korea, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.

You can wait for the firmware versions to hit our database and then flash your phone manually using the Odin tool and a computer running Windows OS.
