Samsung has already updated a bunch of smartphones and tablets with the July 2021 security patch. The rollout of the new security update started with the Galaxy S10. It then expanded to the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy A52, Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and the Galaxy Tab Active 2. The company has now released the update to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G (SM-F707B) has started getting a new software update with the July 2021 security patch in Germany. The latest update comes with firmware version F707BXXU3DUF4, and it fixes various bugs and vulnerabilities related to privacy and security. It also aims to fix the Android Auto-related bug that some users were facing. However, Samsung is yet to unveil the complete list of bugs it has fixed with the July 2021 patch.
If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 5G user in Germany, you can either wait for the OTA update to arrive on its own or check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also flash the new firmware manually after downloading the latest firmware file from our database.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in mid-2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2.5. It received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update in December 2020. It is currently on Samsung's monthly security update schedule.
