Pre-bookings for the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy S20 series opened in India last month. Although Samsung unveiled four colorways—Mirror Black, Mirror Gold, Mirror Purple, and Thom Browne—for the Galaxy Z Flip, the phone was available in India in just two colors: Mirror Black and Mirror Purple. Samsung has now announced that it is bringing the Mirror Gold version of the foldable smartphone to the Indian market very soon.

Samsung has not mentioned the date for the availability of the Mirror Gold version of the Galaxy Z Flip, but we expect the phone to be available over the next couple of weeks. The Galaxy Z Flip is priced at Rs 1,09,999 in India. The phone quickly went out of stock after it was available for pre-orders and during its first sale in the country. We don't know if the Mirror Gold version would cost more than the other color variants. The phone is available for purchase through Amazon.in and Samsung's online store.

Galaxy Z Flip features and specs

The Galaxy Z Flip is Samsung's second foldable phone. It has a clamshell design, and its 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display folds in half. The screen is covered by Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), and the phone's rear is covered by Gorilla Glass 6. There's a 1.01-inch cover display at the front. The phone has a 10MP selfie camera and a 12MP+12MP rear-facing, dual-camera setup.

It runs Android 10 with One UI 2.1, and it is equipped with the Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. A 3,300mAh battery powers the Galaxy Z Flip. It features LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Samsung Pay, and a USB Type-C port. Other features of the Galaxy Z Flip include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 15W fast wired charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
