Samsung started rolling out the April 2022 security update to its smartphones two weeks ago. The update was first released to the Galaxy S22 series and then to other high-end phones. Now, the new security update is rolling out to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in some European markets.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with firmware version F916BXXS2GVCA. The update includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes 88 vulnerabilities in the foldable phone. It could also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
The new update is currently rolling out in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Southeast Europe, the Baltic region, and the Czech Republic. More countries around the world will get this update within the next few weeks. Last month, the foldable phone had received the One UI 4.1 update with dozens of new features.
