Samsung has released the December 2021 security update to a few high-end smartphones. After releasing it to the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Fold 5G, the South Korean firm has released its latest security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in a few markets.
The newest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with firmware version F9160TBS3EUK1, and it is currently rolling out in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The new software might also contain general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
The international variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will get the update within the next few days. The carrier-locked and unlocked variants of the foldable device will get the update soon.
If you're a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
