The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has finally started getting the March 2024 security update. The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 have already received the new security update. Galaxy Z Fold 2 users have patiently waited for this update to hit their foldable phone.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 gets March 2024 security update in Europe
The new software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 carries firmware version F916BXXS5KXC1. It is available in European countries, including Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Southeast Europe, Spain, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. The update is also available in the UAE.
This new update brings the March 2024 security patch that fixes around 44 security vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the phone's software. It doesn't bring any new features or improve the performance of the phone.
If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 2 and live in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also use the manual firmware flashing method once you download the new firmware from our database.
