Samsung is swiftly rolling out the December 2022 security update to its smartphones and tablets over the past few days. The latest device to get the new security patch is the company's third-generation flagship foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with firmware version F926USQS2EVK7. This update is rolling out to the carrier-locked version of the smartphone in the US on Comcast's network. Other carriers in the country could soon release this update on their networks as well.

The December 2022 security patch fixes over 90 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets, and it makes the Galaxy Z Fold 3 more secure. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements for the Samsung device.

If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 3 user with a carrier-locked model in the US, you can now check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
