Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The two smartphones have started getting a new security patch in some European markets. More regions could get the update soon.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with firmware version F926BXXS1CVCA, and it has been released in Austria, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and the UK.
For the Galaxy Z Flip 3, the new software comes bearing firmware version F711BXXS2CVC9. The latest update is available for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the following markets:
- Austria
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Ireland
- Macedonia
- Netherlands
- Poland
- Portugal
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
- Switzerland
- UK
The update includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It also contains general bug fixes, devices stability improvements, and better performance.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Flip 3 user in Europe, you can check for the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file for your phone from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched its third-generation foldable Galaxy phones in the second half of 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1. The phones received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update earlier this year and the One UI 4.1 update last month.
