After rolling out the latest security patch to the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Samsung has released it to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 as well. Both international and Korean models of the foldable phone have started getting the November 2021 security update.
The latest software update for the international version of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with firmware version F926BXXS1AUJB, and it is currently rolling out in Austria, Croatia, Serbia, and Slovenia. The South Korean version of the phone is getting the update with firmware version F926NKSU1AUJ7. The new update fixes a lot of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. It might also include general bug fixes and improve the stability of the phone.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 3 user in Europe and South Korea, you might have already received a notification of the new update. If you haven't received it yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
The carrier-locked and unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 haven't received the November 2021 security patch yet, but we expect that to happen over the next few weeks. Check out our review of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the video below.
