We are still a few months away from the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but we know almost everything about Samsung's next flagship foldable phones. Now, information about the Galaxy Z Fold 4's camera specifications have leaked, and it looks like the phone has a well-balanced setup.
According to reliable tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a triple-camera setup on the rear. It has a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The primary and ultrawide cameras could be similar to those found on the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+.
Unlike the 10MP telephoto camera on the Galaxy S22, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a higher-resolution sensor. The tipster claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 4's telephoto camera is the best 3x zoom camera on any Samsung phone. If this information is correct, the upcoming foldable phone appears to have a really good camera setup despite being thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 could have a wider and shorter cover display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor, improved cameras, a thinner and lighter body, and a 4,400mAh battery. We also expect an IPX8 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, 25W fast charging, and wireless charging.
