Earlier this week, Samsung released the December 2022 security update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but it was limited to devices in the US. Now, the update has reached the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in more markets, including Europe and India.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with firmware version F936BXXS1BVKC. It is available across Europe and India. It brings the December 2022 security patch that fixes 93 security vulnerabilities found in Samsung's smartphones and tablets. The new update might also include general bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 4 user in Europe or India, you can install the latest security update on your phone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 a few months ago with Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software onboard. The foldable smartphone already received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update a few weeks ago. It will get three more Android OS updates in the future.
