While Galaxy S23 pre-orders haven't even started reaching all customers worldwide, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 5.1 update to older smartphones already. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra have already received the update. Now, even the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has started getting the One UI 5.1 update.
The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with firmware version F936BXXU1CWAC. The update is currently available in Germany and the Netherlands, and its availability could expand to more European countries within the next few days. Samsung may release the update across the world before the end of this month. However, carrier-locked units of the smartphone could get the update a bit later.
At this pace, it looks like users of older high-end Galaxy smartphones will get to experience One UI 5.1 before Galaxy S23 series users. If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 4 user in Europe, you can now check for the One UI 5.1 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file once it becomes available in our firmware database.
You can check the complete changelog and all the new features and improvements that One UI 5.1 brings to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the screenshot below. You can also check those features in our One UI 5.1 video at the end of the article.
Update: One UI 5.1 is also rolling out for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 bearing firmware version F721BXXU1CWAC.
