This week has been an exciting one for Samsung fans thanks to the release of the Android 14-based One UI 6 update for a number of eligible Galaxy smartphones (and one tablet). All of the company's 2023 flagships have now received the update, even if the update hasn't been released everywhere yet, along with a couple of mid-range phones.
While the Galaxy S23's official One UI 6 update was first released for those who were participating in the One UI 6 beta program, Samsung did the opposite for devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 and first released the stable update for Android 13 users.

But beta users don't need to wait any longer, as Samsung has announced the end of the beta program and has now released the final update for those who are currently running the test version of Android 14 and One UI 6. A similar release should soon be happening for Galaxy Z Flip 5 owners as well.
Stable Z Fold 5 Android 14 update is a smaller download for beta users
Since this update is bumping the beta firmware to the stable one, it has a considerably smaller download size of around 450 MB. Samsung doesn't say if this particular update fixes any additional bugs or make any improvements, but if you were having issues on the latest beta build, they will hopefully be addressed once the stable version has been installed.
To grab the One UI 6 update on your Galaxy Z Fold 5, open the Settings app on the phone, select Software update, and tap Download and install. You can also download the full Android 14 firmware from our archive and install it on the phone using a Windows PC. The firmware installation method works whether you're using the Android 14 beta or Android 13.
