Yesterday, Samsung released the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update to some high-end phones, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The update brings a competely redesigned UI, Now Bar, new Galaxy AI features, new widgets for the home screen and the lock screen, more lock screen customizations, new app icons for all the stock apps, a redesigned stock Camera app, and natural language based search in the Settings app.
It also brings new camera and editiong features, including Audio Eraser, Auto Trim, log video recording, and a RAW image editor. You can also summon Gemini (or any other AI assistant) by long pressing the power (side) button. The update also brings new and improved image and video editing options, Samsung Health improvements, and a new Nearby Devices interface for sharing files between devices.
Galaxy Z Fold 6
The update also brings new battery charging animations and more battery health protection features. Game Booster's panel has been improved where you can have custom settings for each game. Privacy and security features have also improved with the One UI 7.0 update.
