Over the past couple of months, there have been rumors that Samsung is launching the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra in addition to the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, it isn't clear what is special about this Ultra version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. At least it appears that the phone definitely exists, as its battery has appeared again.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra battery appears in BIS certification
Two new batteries from Samsung, featuring model numbers EB-BF959ABE and EB-BF959ABY, respectively, have appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database. These batteries were spotted by MySmartPrice. Since the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6 bears the model number SM-F956B, these batteries aren't for the vanilla version of the phone.
These two batteries are variants of one of the batteries that could be used in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. The other battery carries model numbers EB-BF958ABE or EB-BF958ABY, depending on the manufacturer or supplier. This certification means the device could be used in India, even if it doesn't launch in the country.
There have been rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 variant with model number SM-F958N (South Korean variant) won't launch alongside the vanilla Galaxy Z Fold 6. It could be launched a few months later, and it may be restricted to South Korea and other markets. So, if you buy this device from South Korea, you can use it in India.

Some reports claimed the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra could be thinner or have a Galaxy S24 Ultra-like camera with better camera sensors. Other rumors claimed the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra could have a bigger battery. However, none of this information has been verified by credible sources yet.
