Samsung tablets are among the best Android devices when it comes to stylus support, drawing, and note-taking. They come with the exceptional Samsung Notes app that offers various drawing and note-taking features, and it is about to get some competition from a popular note-taking app that is loved by iPad and iPhone users.

The GoodNotes app is now available for Android tablets, but it can only be installed on Samsung Galaxy tablets right now. Moreover, the app is only compatible with devices with screen sizes measuring 8 inches or more and 3GB (or more) RAM. If you have a Galaxy tablet with an 8-inch or bigger screen and 3GB or more RAM, you can download and install the GoodNotes app from here. Remember, the app is in its beta phase right now, so there can be a few bugs or performance issues.

The app currently supports digital writing using a stylus such as the S Pen. It comes with 50+ templates for various use cases, and choose from blank paper, graph paper, dotted paper, Cornell notes, and more. You can always start from a blank canvas. You can also zoom in and zoom out and edit your digital writing. You can write equations, mind maps, diagrams, and more.

Right now, the GoodNotes app for Android tablets is free to use during its beta phase.
