Google has announced that its products now work better together. Google Assistant now integrates with Google Calendar and Google Tasks when you ask it to remind you of something, and this should've been the case from the start. Nevertheless, Google is making amends and cleaning up its product portfolio to make things simpler.
Earlier, when you asked Google Assistant to remind you of something, it would create an alert within the Google Assistant app but not in Google Tasks. The whole point of Google Tasks is to remind you of your tasks, but the integration was simply not there. Now, when you ask the assistant to remind you of something, it will create an entry in Google Tasks as well as Google Calendar.
The new feature will take a few weeks to roll out, though. You should be able to use this feature on your Galaxy smartphone, tablet, and smartwatch. You can even use it on your Galaxy laptops when signed into a Google account. Google also announced a few other features, including the ability to turn emails and chat into tasks. You can even sort tasks in a list and star the important ones.
