Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you have opened many tabs in Google Chrome for Android over time, which is making the browser look cluttered and slowing down the device, but you don't want to close them as you might need to access them in the future? Well, if you have, Google is working on a solution for your problem.

According to 9To5Google, Google is working on a feature for Chrome for Android called Tab Declutter. Reportedly, this feature will automatically archive all the tabs that you haven’t used in a while, which will not only declutter the web browser but also speed up the phone’s and the app’s performance. This feature will be very helpful for affordable Galaxy phones, which don't have a lot of processing power or memory. We are assuming that if you want to access those tabs later, you could go to the archive section and explore them.

If you want to get rid of all the tabs in the current version of Google Chrome for Android to speed up the app's and the phone's performance, while having the option of accessing them later, you can select multiple tabs, bookmark them, and then close all the tabs. However, the Tab Declutter feature will do these things automatically for you, which could be very convenient. The feature is not expected to go live until the release of Chrome 125, which is scheduled to come out in May.
