Google had a few announcements to make around Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event, and as part of the ongoing collaboration between the two Android tech giants, the Galaxy S22 series is getting the live sharing feature in Google Duo.
Galaxy smartphone customers can already use Google Duo, of course, but the Galaxy S22 series supports the live sharing feature out-of-the-box. Live sharing helps you connect with friends and family in new ways, as it supports sharing across various (supported) apps.
Live sharing makes it possible for Google Duo users to share ideas through Samsung Notes or Gallery, watch YouTube videos together, and search for Google Maps locations.
Other new features are coming to the Galaxy Watch 4
In addition to live sharing for Google Duo, the company reminded us that the Galaxy Watch 4 series will offer support for the Google Assistant “soon.” No exact dates were revealed.
Likewise, Google Messages is getting a YouTube preview feature inside the app, so Maybe Samsung is preparing something similar for its own Messages app. We'll keep you posted, and don't forget to stay tuned for our upcoming Galaxy S22 reviews. For now, here's a couple of hands-on videos:
