Google has announced a new application for Microsoft Windows called Google Essentials. According to the company, this app will make it easier for you to discover and install Google’s apps for the OS, including Google Drive and Google Play Games, as well as access many of its services, including Google Docs, Google Photos, and Google Messages. People who install this app will also get a 2-month trial of Google One 100GB storage.
The brand says that it will make Google Essentials available first for HP’s laptops and desktops, including Spectre, Envy, Pavilion, OMEN, Victus, HP Brand, and OmniBook series devices, and expand the app’s availability to Windows PCs from other brands in the ‘coming months.’ So, Samsung Galaxy Book users might have to wait a little to get this app. Furthermore, it says that people will be able to uninstall this app at any time they want.

At the moment, there’s no information if HP will ship devices pre-installed with this app or if people will have to download it manually. Google has also not provided any download link for it. In the blog post, Google says “You can open Google Essentials right from the start menu and easily switch between your phone and laptop.” Hopefully, we will get to know more about it soon.
