Last week, at the MadeByGoogle event, Google launched many products, including the Pixel 9 series smartphones. Along with it, the company also announced Gemini Live, a version of Gemini that is tailored for voice-based interactions and is already available for Samsung’s smartphones and tablets. It has a floating layout without a glow around it. Now, the brand has started rolling out the same look for Gemini as well.
According to 9To5Google, Google has started rolling out an update to the Gemini app. After installing the update, when you summon Gemini, it will appear in a compact, floating window with a glow around it, rather than taking up the whole screen. This design not only looks more premium but also takes up less space on the screen.
The update also brings the ‘Ask about this video' feature. It can analyze a video on YouTube and give you its summary. You will be able to access this feature when you summon Gemini while you are watching a video in the YouTube app.
The publication says that they have received the update on their Pixel 8 Pro but availability is limited. We haven’t received it on our Galaxy S23 yet.
