Google launched the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro last night, alongside the Pixel Watch. The company also introduced a bunch of new software features for other Android devices. During the Pixel 7 launch event, Google talked about the new Security & Privacy hub that will keep your phones and tablets secure.

The new Security & Privacy hub was leaked in April 2022 during one of the Android 13 previews. But the feature did not make it to the final version of Android 13. Thankfully, the latest signs (via Android Police) confirm that we will see this new Security & Privacy feature on Android devices from Samsung and other brands.

The Safety & Privacy feature will be pushed to Pixel phones soon

Apparently, this new Security & Privacy feature brings App Security, Find My Device, Security Updates, Device Lock, Google Play System Updates, and other security features all in one place. So, you can think of this as a one-stop shop for all of your security needs, and you can fix everything affecting your phone's privacy and security from one place.

There are safety cards that will notify you if your device is facing any security risks. You can tap on this card, and the safety hub will scan your phone. Once the scan completes, it will prompt you to perform steps such as uninstalling harmful apps and cleaning up the memory. Google said this feature is coming to Pixel phones soon and will be released to other Android devices in the near future.

A tip from Mishaal Rahman noted that the feature was bundled as a part of the Android 13 QPR Beta 2.
