Yesterday at Unpacked, Samsung started a new chapter in the Galaxy Fold saga and announced the Galaxy Z Fold 6 as its thinnest yet strongest foldable phone to date. It is now available for pre-order, and if you intend on upgrading from an older Fold model, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for a much lower price than normal.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. The base price is $1,899, while the upper storage variants cost $2,019 and $2,259.

However, at the moment, Samsung offers a free storage upgrade to 512GB, and if you intend to trade an older device for the new Galaxy Z Fold 6, you can get massive discounts of up to $1,200.

Great Galaxy Z Fold 6 trade-in offers — even for the Galaxy S9

Assuming you're a Galaxy Fold user wanting to upgrade to the latest model, you can save between $300 for the original 2019 Fold and up to $1,200.

  • Save $300 with Galaxy Z Fold trade-in.
  • Save $600 with Galaxy Z Fold 2 trade-in.
  • Save $900 with Galaxy Z Fold 3 trade-in.
  • Save $1,000 with Galaxy Z Fold 4 trade-in.
  • Save $1,200 with Galaxy Z Fold 5 trade-in.

If you're using a slab-type phone and you're sold on the whole foldable phone idea for the first time — now that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is more durable than ever — you can save a lot by exchanging your Galaxy S phone for the new Z6. Here are some of the best offers:

  • Save $400 when you trade any Galaxy S model between the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S20 Ultra.
  • Save $450 when you trade the Galaxy S23.
  • Save $500 when you trade the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, or Galaxy S24.
  • Save $650 when you trade the Galaxy S23+ or Galaxy S22 Ultra.
  • Save $700 when you trade the Galaxy S24+.
  • Save $800 when you trade the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
  • Save $900 when you trade the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Indeed, even the old Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S10 get amazing trade-in values when you exchange them for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. So if you've been waiting for the right time to grab a first foldable from Samsung, this might be it.
