Half a dozen Galaxy M phones now getting the June 2023 update

It's the end of June, and most Samsung device users know what this means. Samsung is already preparing a new update for July, while a handful of Galaxy phones are now rushing in to catch up with the June 2023 release. Case in point: A bunch of Galaxy M phones are now getting the June 2023 update.

Samsung is rolling out the June 2023 security patch for the Galaxy M02, Galaxy M12, Galaxy M13, Galaxy M32, and Galaxy M40. Here's a list of where you can get the update and for which devices.

The Galaxy M02 (SM-M022M) is getting the update in Panama, where it carries firmware version M022MUBS3BWF6.

The Galaxy M12 (SM-M127F) is getting the update in Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Turkey, Morocco, Lybia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Russia. The update carries firmware version M127FXXU5DWE1.

Similarly, the June 2023 update is also available for the Galaxy M12 (SM-M127G) in India, where it carries firmware version M127GXXU5DWF2.

Moving on to the Galaxy M13, the update is available for the 5G version (SM-A136B) in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Egypt, the UAE, Iraq, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Slovenia, Austria, Ireland, Poland, the UK, Portugal, Serbia, the Czech Republic, France, Croatia, Italy, and the majority of Europe. Users can identify the update by firmware version A136BXXU4CWE2 and A136BXXU4CWE3, depending on the region.

The Galaxy M32 (SM-M325F) is getting the update in India as firmware version M25FXXU7DWF3. However, Samsung is also rolling out the June update for the SM-M325FV version under firmware number M325FVXXU7DWE3. The latter is available in Taiwan, New Zealand, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Indonesia, the UK, Romania, Caucasus Countries, Spain, Poland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine, France, and Slovakia.

And last but not least, Samsung has released the June 2023 update for the Galaxy M04 (SM-M405F) in India and Nepal. It carries firmware version M405FDDS2CWF3.

No matter which Galaxy M phone you have, if the June update is available in your market, you should be able to download it from the firmware section of our website or by opening the Settings app on your phone, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.”
