Samsung's latest foldable phones are now available for pre-order, and prospective buyers have a handful of colors from which to choose. Some are standard with a glossy finish, while others are exclusive to Samsung's online store and have a premium matte finish. Today, we're taking a closer look at the rarer Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 color options in a new hands-on video.

Samsung's exclusive colors don't cost anything extra
If you'd like to pre-order or buy the Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5 in one of these exclusive colors rather than the standard ones, all you need to know is that they're available only through Samsung's online store. And even though you won't find them anywhere else, they don't cost extra. You're looking at $999 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and $1,799 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5, regardless of which paint finish you choose.
The standard colors also lack a black frame, which the exclusive colors have. It helps the matte finishes stand out even more. Nevertheless, if you prefer glossy over matte, standard options for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 include Icy Blue, Phantom Black, and Cream. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is offered in Mint, Graphite, Cream, and Lavender.
Keep in mind that the availability of both standard and online-exclusive colors differs by market. Some flavors might not be available in your region, and you'll have to verify with your local Samsung online portal for these details and confirm what you can or can't buy in your market.
