The Galaxy Ring has been out for the better part of the year now. This is Samsung's first smart ring. The company is aiming to expand its lineup of health and fitness-focused wearables as it learns ever more into the use of Galaxy AI to help people live their best lives.
It emerged recently that Samsung has two new models of the Galaxy Ring in the pipeline that it would be releasing soon. An online retailer listing of one of those models has appeared online ahead of the expected launch in January.
Larger sizes incoming for the Galaxy Ring
The company isn't expected to make any major changes to the device, as the two new models carrying model numbers SM-Q514 and SM-Q515 simply refer to a change in the ring size. Each individual ring size gets its own model number.
At launch, the Galaxy Ring was offered in nine different sizes ranging from sizes 5 to 13. These two additions are on the larger end, with a size 14 (23mm diameter) and size 15 (23.8mm diameter) joining the previously available nine size options.
This retailer listing shared by @MaxJmb from X shows Media Markt listing the size 15 of the Galaxy Ring on its website for Switzerland. The price is 429.95 CHF which is the same as the other sizes of the Galaxy Ring that are already available for purchase.
Since the larger size will be the only change, it's likely that the Galaxy Ring size 14 and 15 will both be available in the same Titanium Silver, Gold, and Black finishes as the existing models. Samsung hasn't said when these new sizes will go on sale but it's expected that we may see the company start sales next year, possibly after its Unpacked event on January 22.
