The day we had been waiting for is finally here. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 series at its Unpacked event in San Jose, California, today. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is undoubtedly the star of the show, and it's most definitely going to be the model that will sell the most.

If you're in the United States, prices for the Galaxy S25 Ultra start at $1,299. Samsung is taking pre-orders for the device starting today.

Galaxy S25 Ultra costs the same as its predecessor

There was some apprehension that the Galaxy S25 series may become more expensive. While that may be the case in other markets, Samsung has spared a price hike for customers in the United States, arguably one of its most important markets.

This means that the starting price is the same as last year. You can buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $1,299. Prices will go up incrementally for the 512GB and 1TB storage variants.

Prices have also remained constant for the Galaxy S25 Ultra in the United Kingdom. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at £1249 like last year and the 512GB variant remains at £1349. The 1TB storage variant is also available in the UK this year for £1549.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Black, Titanium Whitesilver and Titanium Gray colors. Pre-orders are open now with the device being released on February 7, 2025.
