Swiggy Instamart has started delivering Samsung phones in 10 cities in India
Swiggy, India's leading food delivery platform, has started selling smartphones via its quick commerce platform Instamart. The service has started today in 10 cities: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida, and Pune.
The company has started stocking popular smartphones, including the Galaxy M35. Other brands include Motorola, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, and Vivo. Once you place an order for a smartphone, a delivery executive will pick it up from a nearby Swiggy Instamart dark store (warehouse) and deliver it to your location in 10 minutes (or slightly higher). The company plans to expand this service to more cities across the country.

Swiggy Instamart is offering a 5% discount (up to INR 4,000 or ~$46) on smartphones to buyers using an ICICI Bank credit card.
Swiggy Instamart's rival, Zepto, announced a similar service a few days ago. However, it currently only sells Apple and Vivo smartphones. Another rival, Blinkit, started selling Nokia and Xiaomi phones in India.
