It's now been more than three years since the Galaxy S21 Ultra was released. Granted, it has served you well for all these years, but it's high time now that you went for an upgrade, and there's no better upgrade right now than Samsung's brand new Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Story continues after the video
Even though it had the best specs back when it was released, the components are showing their age now. The chipset buckles under the pressure of the latest games and apps, the OS doesn't seem as smooth as it once did, and the cameras are certainly not the best that you can get on the market right now.
There's another crucial reason why you should consider upgrading from the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It's at the end of its support cycle for major OS upgrades. Samsung only promised to provide four major Android OS upgrades for the device. This means that the Android 15 One UI 7.0 upgrade released later this year will be its last and the Galaxy S21 Ultra won't be eligible for any new updates or features thereafter.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the best flagship foldable that Samsung has made so far. It comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, improved cameras, the brightest displays yet on a Samsung foldable, and enhanced durability. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will also receive Android OS upgrades for 7 years, this means that you're good until Android 21.
It's still possible to get a respectable trade-in value for the device right now as it's only going to be further reduced as time goes by. If you pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 6 from Samsung right now, you can trade-in the Galaxy S21 Ultra for $500. That's a great deal for a device that cost $1,199 new.
You've used it for more than three years and can still get just about half of the device value back. If I were you, I wouldn't think twice before getting in on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 action!
