It's hard to believe that Samsung announced the Galaxy S22 a year ago. Has it been that long? By all measures, yes, it has. Samsung is getting ready to announce the sequel on February 1, and in case you missed the news, you can reserve the Galaxy S23 (and/or the Galaxy Book 3 laptop) online and earn store credit.
Samsung opened the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Book 3 reservation window on January 11. And it is about to close. Once Unpacked goes live on February 1, prospective buyers will be given the option to pre-order the new devices, but they will no longer be able to reserve them and benefit from that $50 or $100 prize in Samsung store credit.
All you need to know about this online reservation offer
If you have any plans to pre-order the Galaxy S23 or the Galaxy Book 3 — or both — this is your last chance to reserve your device online. It costs you nothing to do so, and after Unpacked, you can back down if you decide that the Galaxy S23 or the Galaxy Book 3 isn't worth the money.
But if you reserve now and pre-order after Unpacked, you'll get store credit, which you can later use to purchase other Samsung products online. You can earn $50 in credit if you reserve a phone or a laptop, and if you decide to go for both, Samsung's giving away $100 in credit.
There are a couple of caveats. Firstly, you will need to follow through with your pre-order to benefit from $50/$100 in-store credit. Again, you can back down if you think the new Galaxy devices are not up to par. So, it doesn't cost you anything to reserve the phone, and there are no strings attached.
Secondly, once you get that in-store credit, you won't be able to use it to lower the price of the Galaxy S23 or Galaxy Book 3 upon pre-ordering these devices. The in-store credit is reserved for future purchases.
If you don't want to miss out on Samsung's offer, visit the official reservation page and sign up. Don't forget that the clock is ticking and the reservation window will close once Unpacked goes live on February 1.
