Rumored Galaxy Z Flip FE specifications
According to tipster @PandaFlashPro, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will have the same display as the Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, its brightness may be limited to 1,900 nits. It will reportedly use the same Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 for the foldable screen's protection.
Samsung could also use the same flat Armor Aluminum frame, hinge, and Gorilla Glass Victus used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 for the Galaxy Z Flip FE. The phone could have a 50MP primary camera and a 10MP selfie camera. It could use an Exynos chip (most likely Exynos 2500), Wi-Fi 6E, and 25W fast charging.
The tipster claims that the phone has water-resistance sealing, stereo speakers, and ProVisual Engine. I will likely run Android 15 (One UI 7.x) out of the box, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, it might lack some Galaxy AI features due to NPU performance limitations.
Besides the screen's peak brightness and an unconfirmed IP rating, the Galaxy Z Flip FE appears similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. You can watch our Galaxy Z Flip 6 review in the video below.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in August. It is said to be cheaper than the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7, but its price tag isn't known yet.
