It's not surprising to see that Samsung is working on a new Galaxy A series handset. The Galaxy A51 will likely be one of the first from its 2020 Galaxy A series. We have seen some leaked renders of the device recently which provided hints about its design.
Some purported Galaxy A51 case renders have now been leaked online. They tell a similar design story following the renders that were leaked earlier this week. One element that immediately stands out is the quad camera setup that's arranged in a new L shape.
Galaxy A51 will come with some noticeable design changes
This is a relatively new look for a Samsung device and multiple leaked renders now suggested that the company has decided on it for the Galaxy A51. The device also appears to have a centered punch-hole display much like the Galaxy Note 10.
This would actually be the first device after the Galaxy Note 10 to have the punch-hole in that position. Samsung has previously used waterdrop notches for its budget and mid-range handsets, with some exceptions. It's just another example of its more advanced tech trickling down to affordable devices.
The new quad camera setup will certainly be one of the highlights of this device. It's expected to feature a 48MP primary camera with a 12MP ultra-wide and a 12MP 2x optical zoom telephoto camera. There will also be a 5MP depth sensing camera.
We can expect to see more Galaxy A51 leaks in the days to come. Samsung hasn't said when we can expect this device to arrive. Given that the new Galaxy A handsets were made official early this year, it's quite likely that Samsung will introduce the 2020 Galaxy A series in the next couple of months.
