Samsung’s LockStar app, a module for the company’s Good Lock, provides additional options to customize the lock screen and always-on display (AoD) of your Galaxy smartphone or tablet. Unfortunately, LockStar doesn’t offer AoD customizations on the Galaxy S24 series smartphones, and that’s because the app doesn’t work with the full-screen AoD that these devices feature. Well, that’s going to change soon.

On Samsung’s Community forum for Korea, many people complained that LockStar doesn’t allow them to customize the always-on display (AoD) of their Galaxy S24 series device. In response to their complaint, a moderator confirmed that it is indeed the case but Samsung is working on solving that. In other words, it is working on equipping LockStar with the ability to offer AoD customizations on the Galaxy S24 series phones.

Unfortunately, Samsung didn’t reveal when it would offer the change. We expect it to arrive in the next couple of weeks. The South Korean tech giant has also promised to fix an issue with LockStar where it shows icons on the AoD in a different design than what it shows in the preview. Recently, the tech giant equipped the app with the option to adjust the brightness of AoD on the Galaxy S24 series smartphones.
