Samsung is set to unveil several new products at its Unpacked event that's reportedly taking place next month. We've heard many reports over the past few months that the company may talk more about its smart glasses at the event.

A major Samsung Galaxy Glasses leak has surfaced online today which reveals some interesting details about the project.

The groundwork is in place for a launch in the near future

SammyGuru got their hands on the Galaxy Glasses manager app, which is what will be used to pair the smart glasses to your mobile device and access its various features.

The glasses that you see in these screen shots aren't Samsung's Galaxy Glasses. These are the Warby Parker-branded ones that Samsung is collaborating on with Google and Qualcomm.

The leak also reveals that the smart glasses run One UI XR, which isn't surprising, as we've already seen this on the Galaxy XR headset. It's based on the Android XR platform developed by Google.

Everything you need to control on the smart glasses can be done using this app. This includes fine tuning the settings, installing software updates, transferring photos and videos captured on the glasses, and more.

It's not possible to dive deep into all of the features without the smart glasses paired with the app. Further insights have been revealed by the code strings inside the app. Samsung is working on a separate Galaxy Glasses Controller app which will be installed on Galaxy smartwatches. References to gesture control through the Galaxy Ring have been discovered as well.

The app would work with both Samsung's own smart glasses and the ones it's developing with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. This is an exciting find for sure, and gives us all the more reason to be excited for Samsung's impending Unpacked event.
