Since Microsoft launched Windows 11, the company has been releasing a big update to the operating system every year, which brings many new features. This year’s big update for the OS is finally here. Microsoft has released Build 26052 of Windows 11 Insider Preview for Canary and Dev channels. The new build carries version 24H2.
Version 24H2 of Windows 11 brings many new features related to hearing aid support, microphone testing, Copilot, Taskbar and System Tray, Bluetooth, graphics, Registry Editor, Developer APIs, security, settings, and many other things. You can check out the full list of changes in the press release.
People were expecting Microsoft to call the new build of the OS Windows 12. Others were expecting the company to call it Windows 11 but with the AI tag beside it. However, none of those speculations turned out to be true. Expect Microsoft to release version 24H2 of Windows 11 to the public in the second half of this year.
On a related note, Qualcomm recently said that products with the Snapdragon X Elite chipset will arrive with the release of the next version of Windows in mid-2024.
