Samsung continues to lead the global TV market 16 years after it first grabbed the top spot on the podium. Its smart TVs are becoming smarter and richer in content every year, and today, the company announced the launch of HBO Max in another European country.

Customers in Poland can now download the HBO Max app on their smart TVs via the Samsung app store, assuming they have an active connection to the Internet. And in case you’re wondering, HBO's service was previously released in a handful of other European countries, including Andorra and Spain, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Poland is joining that list today.

HBO GO subscribers can use their existing accounts inside the HBO Max app. Customers who sign up to HBO Max before March 31 will benefit from promotional prices and pay PLN 19.99 ($4.41) a month.

Available for Samsung smart TV models from 2016 and up

Samsung confirmed today that HBO Max is supported by dozens of smart TV models released in 2016 and later. The list includes conventional TV models, as well as lifestyle TVs such as The Frame, The Serif, The Sero, and The Terrace. You can refer to the image below for a full list of compatible Samsung smart TVs.

Once they sign up, customers will have access to cult classics, from Harry Potter and Friends to The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. The sixth season of Gossip Girl and the third season of Succession are also live on HBO Max, and likewise, films like The Matrix Resurrection and Dune can also be streamed.
