Samsung Galaxy A37
As we entered this month, Samsung announced the August 2026 security patch for Galaxy smartphones and tablets and Wear OS smartwatches. However, it doesn’t mean that the brand has completed rolling out the July 2026 security patch. One of the devices that hadn’t received it was the Galaxy A37. That’s finally changing.
Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A37. It brings the July 2026 security patch, which fixes 57 security issues. At the moment, the company is offering the update to the phone's international variant in many regions, including India. It is 301.41MB in size and carries firmware version A376EXXS4AZG7 (via Kailash).
To get the latest software update on your Galaxy A37, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Speaking of updates for the phone, it is eligible to get the tech giant’s latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0.
Based on Android 17, it offers more UI customization options and new features compared to One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). Samsung is expected to start rolling it out to older devices in the next few weeks.
